General Operations
Dogs Go Walkies is a very small business which, as intended, I am growing very gradually, providing dog walking, day care and boarding services.
I will assess the dogs and check their condition - they will need proof of vaccinations.
Details of vets for each boarding dog will be recorded and I am also registered to take any dog, in an emergency, to Animal Trust vets.
The dog's temperament will be judged, together with suitability for mixing with other dogs.
Walking dogs and getting to know the dogs before boarding is important so that they are confident to board.
Discussions about suitability for allowing dogs off the lead will be essential and agreements adhered to.
Boarding will be, primarily, for customers who will be away on holidays.
Customers will, generally, be friends, recommends or from close vicinity.
I will help by going through the booking form with you.
Facilities
I moved recently to my late mother's house where there is a large garden and all the dogs love playing here. It's great for dogs that can't usually be let off the lead on our walks - they get a good run in any case.
My house has been inspected and passed by the council and, my customers are very welcome to have a look around the place.
Best quality "Groomers" shampoo can be provided. I have an outside tap, set to lukewarm so that the dogs get a luxury shower after muddy adverntures!
Owners can bring their dogs' own bowls, leads, harnesses, coats and shampoo, toys, together with food and treats unless discussed otherwise.
Dogs boarding or here for day care will be exercised at least twice a day.
Holidays
My holidays will fit around my customers' vacations, unless I give longer prior notice.
